<p>I have been involved in all aspects related to physical activity for the past 5 years. While I have worked as a personal trainer in the past, I recently have focused a lot of time in exercise and weight loss research. There are a ton of fads and claims in regards to both the fitness and weight loss industry, and I pride myself on knowing the true facts and theories supported by research opposed to whatever the latest magazine or T.V. doctor has to advertise. Currently, I am finishing up my Master’s degree in sport and exercise psychology. In addition, I am currently working with several certified sports psychologists and other behavioral counselors to meet the requirements of 700 supervised counseling hours needed to become a Certified Consultant from the Association of Applied Sport &amp; Exercise Psychology which will allow me to be licensed as well as certified to consult the weekend warrior, high school athlete, and all the way to Olympic and professional athletes. I have authorship on two papers in two different academic journals in regards to exercise and strategies to overcome barriers and exercise and the triggers that ultimately lead someone to want to start taking the first steps to lose weight and exercise.</p>

<p><span style="color: #ffffff;">Charm City Fitness has a maximum of 12 people per class so that we can maintain a minimal instructor to participant ratio. We do this so that the participants receive the proper attention that they deserve from the instructor. This allows for a safe, efficient, and more personal environment for people to engage in exercise and get to know one another.</span></p>
<h1><span style="color: #ffff99;">When do sign-ups open?</span></h1>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;">February 2012, send your name and phone number to </span><a href="emailto:jodi@citysweat.com"><span style="color: #ffffff;">jodi@citysweat.com</span></a><span style="color: #ffffff;"> with &#8220;Boot Camp Reminder&#8221; in the subject line and and we will contact you in late February for priority enrollment.</span></p>
<h1><span style="color: #ffff99;">What is the appropriate age range and athletic ability for the Boot Camp?</span></h1>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;">Charm City Fitness&#8217; Boot Camp is designed for people ranging in age from 18 &#8211; 55. The classes are designed so participants can adjust their own intensity levels. Participants should be prepared to do running intervals, sprints, stairs, etc. We have found that anyone willing to work hard can be successful in our Boot Camp.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;">Charm City Fitness will perform a complimentary fitness assessment should someone wonder what their athletic ability may be, and if they are in the proper shape to participate in the Boot Camp.</span></p>
<h1><span style="color: #ffff99;">What is the inclement weather policy?</span></h1>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;">Our instructor will notify all participants via telephone or email prior to a class&#8217; beginning. If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, it will be made up within a one week grace period following the first 8 weeks</span></p>
<h1><span style="color: #ffff99;">Do I need to bring anything with me to Boot Camp?</span></h1>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;">Participants only need to bring towels and water, and come dressed in appropriate clothing for the weather conditions at the time. All other exercise materials will be provided to you at the Boot Camp.</span></p>

<p>Charm City Fitness&#8217; Boot Camp is an outdoor program that constantly varies in its programming so that it is never boring. Our Boot Camp involves a program of many different combinations of strength training exercises, cardiosvascular conditioning exercises, and stretching exercises. More specifically, our Boot Camp consists of, but is not limited to, core strength training, plyometric and agility drills, calisthenics,sprint drills, an obstacle course, stair exercises, hill exercises, and boxing training.</p>
