As a former competitive and professional athlete and coach, diet and exercise was an integral part of my training. Upon retiring, my body was compromised by poor nutrition and long term injuries. Feeling physically and mentally depleted, I stopped working out. After a year I realized that not moving made me feel worse, not better. Determined to feel good and strong again, I hired a qualified personal trainer. Within months I felt and moved better than I had in years! This was my motivation to become a certified trainer, so I could help others feel good and move well, especially those with chronic injuries and pain. Nothing makes me happier than a client achieving a goal, whether it is doing their first push up or going up the stairs without pain or shortness of breath!
